Oscar Latham:  Sculptor, Oscar Latham had an affinity for stone carving beginning in his teen years, as he hauled limestone rocks out of the fields on farms and ranches in Central Texas. After several year, Oscar had a strong premonition, during daily meditations, that he needed to carve stones. Having no artistic training, he began a self-taught process of playing with sculpting stone.  Much of Oscar’s work focuses upon his own limitations and the spiritual growth necessary for slowly learning the art of love, compassion, and serving mankind

American Plains Artists : Educating the public through traditional and representational art work related to the American Plains region including the landscape, wildlife, people and way of life in both historical or modern times.
